Robert Baker can claim credit for the idea to sell the J/105 battle flags to the competitors. Twenty four were sold to boats at the regatta. It's hard to make out, but that's a hockey stick with the Canadian flag on the stern.
ZUNI carried the "Champion" yellow flag out to the course staring on Tuesday and never surrendered it after that.
