BIRW2004 J/105 Class Crew Declaration

By sending this form, you are declaring that your crew will be in conformance with Class Rules in Section 3 (Membership and Eligibility). For BIRW, a weigh-in is required so just give weight estimates here. Please make sure that all radio buttons are checked and the Group pulldowns are selected to give the correct information for each crew member.

Note: US Sailing (USS) Appendix P prescribes that the ISAF Sailor’s Classification Codes apply. All US Sailing classifications expired on 12/31/2003. US Sailing Classifications are not valid for Block Island Race Week 2004. If you need a classification you must get one from ISAF. Roughly, Group 1 is an amateur competitor, Group 2 is a marine industry competitor, and Group 3 is a professional competitor. You may get your classification quickly and at no charge from ISAF at http://www.sailing.org/isafsailor/register.asp. All sailing industry related persons are Group 3 until they get an ISAF ruling (see J/105 Class Rule 3.5). BIRW is a Level A regatta, meaning that at most one Group 2 may be part of your crew if the owner-driver is not a Group 2 or Group 3.
